Jim Heath
Jim Heath is considered one of the leading visual chroniclers of sporting events in the business. His dramatic photographs have seen wide distribution, including publication in Life, Time, Sports Illustrated, Jet Skier, Ski People Magazine, USA Today, Variety, and Premiere.

To date, Jim has covered countless major sporting events including the 1984 Summer Olympics, the 1988 Winter Olympics, and the 2002 Winter Olympics. His cinematography contributions span seven motion picture productions, a women-in-sports video, and ongoing professional associations with The Jimmie Huega Mazda Ski Express, The American Ski Association, and Special Olympics.

Beyond his sports enthusiam, Jim possesses a graduate degree in Educational Psychology, and is active in the Waldorf School movement in America. He has been instrumental in creating community youth centers in Southern California as well as coordinating funding for minority educational services.

His photographer's eye, and his teacher's heart, make Jim an invaluable resource to Blue Turns. His ability to understand learning progressions and provide educational imaging speeds the learning curve for students, while his talent for snapping the lens at just the right moment can make everyone look like they belong on the pro tour.
